The Fairview Knights are taking a road trip to challenge the George Washington Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Fairview is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
Fairview is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Broomfield on Friday. Fairview took a 65-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Broomfield.

Despite the loss, Fairview got top-tier performance from Toray Davis, who on his way to 22 points and five rebounds. Davis is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 57% in the last four games he's played. Owen Harding was another key player, to rack up 12 points and seven boards.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for George Washington, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against Northfield by a score of 81-68 on Friday.
George Washington's win came from a few key players Fairview will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jeremiah Trimm, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Malachi Headrick, who en route to 27 points.
George Washington pushed their record up to 14-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.4 points over those games. As for Fairview, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-7.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Fairview and George Washington are some of the highest-scoring teams around. Fairview hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 56.7 points per game. However, it's not like George Washington struggles in that department as they've been averaging 63 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can put up more.
Fairview didn't have too much breathing room in their game against George Washington in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 72-67 win.
