Basketball Game Preview: James Clemens Jets vs. Mae Jemison Jaguars

James Clemens and Mae Jemison are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2017, but not for long. The James Clemens Jets will head out on the road to take on the Mae Jemison Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

James Clemens came up short against Bob Jones on Friday, falling 63-41. While losing is never fun, the Jets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 74th, while the Patriots are ranked fourth).

Meanwhile, Mae Jemison can bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They came out on top against Columbia by a score of 47-37.

Mae Jemison's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-16. As for James Clemens, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season.

Everything went James Clemens' way against Mae Jemison in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as James Clemens made off with a 57-36 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for James Clemens since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
