Burnet has been away from home for three games now, but on Friday they'll finally make their return. They will welcome the Gatesville Hornets at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Burnet was able to grind out a solid win over Fredericksburg, taking the game 22-15.

Rayshon Smith was a one-man wrecking crew for Gatesville as he rushed for 173 yards while picking up 8.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 35 receiving yards. Smith's longest rush was for an incredible 73 yards.

The victory got Burnet back to even at 2-2. As for Gatesville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
