Softball Game Preview: Ludlow Panthers vs. Dixie Heights Colonels

Ludlow is 0-8 against Dixie Heights since April of 2016 but things could change on Thursday. The Ludlow Panthers will be playing at home against the Dixie Heights Colonels at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

It was a proper cat-fight when Ludlow took on Beechwood on Tuesday. Ludlow fell 20-17 to Beechwood.

Shelby Ralston made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored four runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlotte Burke, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, Dixie Heights unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak dating back to last season on Tuesday. They lost 11-5 to Lloyd Memorial.
