Soccer Recap: Cheyenne vs. Desert Oasis
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cheyenne can now relate to. They fell just short of the Desert Oasis Diamondbacks by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The Desert Shields were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Diamondbacks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.
Cheyenne's loss dropped their record down to 15-7-1. As for Desert Oasis, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-1-1 record this season.
