Basketball Recap: Muskego Gets Big Win over Higher-Ranked Franklin

Muskego won the last time they faced Franklin and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Muskego Warriors secured a 66-61 W over the Franklin Sabers. The win was all the more spectacular given the Warriors' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 272nd, while the Sabers are ranked 129th).

Muskego has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for Franklin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.

Muskego will challenge Arrowhead at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Arrowhead knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Muskego likes a good challenge. As for Franklin, they will face off against Indian Trail at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Indian Trail is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.7 points per game this season.
