Basketball Recap: Wylie Beats Memorial for Their Tenth Straight Win

Wylie waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They came out on top against the Memorial Mavericks by a score of 46-35. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 55th, while the Mavericks are ranked 551st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wylie has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 27-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.9 points per game. As for Memorial, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-10.

Wylie has already played their next game (against Plainview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
