Soccer Recap: Trinidad Takes a Loss

Trinidad managed to keep up with Rye until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Miners came up short against the Thunderbolts, falling 8-1. The defeat continues a trend for Trinidad in their meetings with Rye: they've now lost eight in a row.

Trinidad's goal came courtesy of Cierra Nye, who's now up to two this season.

Trinidad's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Rye, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5-1.

Coming up, Trinidad will venture away from home to take on Thomas MacLaren School at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rye, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 10-0 victory against Del Norte on the 18th.
