            Santiago's game  last Friday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Friday. They strolled past the Corona Panthers with  points to spare, taking the game  37-21. The  win was some much needed relief for the Sharks as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Santiago got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Clayton Plewe out in front who threw for 343 yards and four  TDs. Those  four  passing touchdowns gave  Plewe a new career-high.  Zack Jackson was in the mix  too, providing Santiago with two scores.

 Coming up, Santiago will welcome Murrieta Mesa  at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Sharks will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least 31  points  in their last four matchups. As for Corona, they will head out to  face off against Temecula Valley  at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Panthers will be up against the Golden Bears' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.33  points per  contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
