Basketball Recap: Butler Takes a Loss

Butler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were dealt a 64-37 loss at the hands of the Miller Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 64-43 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2020.

Butler's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Miller, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Butler will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Adrian at 5:30 p.m. on February 3rd. As for Miller, they will host Pierce City at 6:00 p.m. on January 28th.
