The Lincoln Charter Eagles will head out on the road to  take on  the Lake Norman Charter Knights  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Lincoln Charter is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.8  goals per game  this season.
Lincoln Charter had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the seven-goal drubbing they dealt Christ the King on Wednesday. The Eagles' defense stepped up to hand the Crusaders  a   7-0 shutout. It was an even better day for  Quinn Campbell as  he scored six goals for  his team.
 Meanwhile,  after soaring to five  goals the game before, Lake Norman Charter was a bit more limited  in their  contest  on Wednesday. They fell just short of Bradford Prep by a score of  1-0. While losing is never fun, Lake Norman Charter can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 256th, while Bradford Prep are ranked 109th).
 Lincoln Charter's win bumped their record up to 13-3-1. As for Lake Norman Charter, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11-1 record  this season.
 Lincoln Charter skirted past Lake Norman Charter  3-2 in their previous meeting  on October 1st. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the  team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
