Basketball Recap: Clio Takes a Loss

Clio was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Birch Run Panthers and fell 45-15. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Birch Run's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sydney Fox, who posted 17 points and five steals. Fox has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiyana Willis, who had ten points and six steals.

Clio's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Birch Run, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-14 record.

As of now, neither Clio nor Birch Run have any future games scheduled.
