Basketball Recap: Central Falls Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Layla Perry and Arielly De Andrade

Central Falls lost against Lincoln School back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The match between the Central Falls Warriors and the Lincoln School Lynx didn't end well, with the Central Falls Warriors falling 57-42.

Central Falls' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Arielly De Andrade, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 21 boards, and Layla Perry, who posted 13 points. That was a full 42.9% of Central Falls' points, marking the fourth time in a row she's scored more than a third of the team's points.

It was another big night for Sarah Berube, who had 20 points for Lincoln School. Berube's afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Reign Whiteing was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Central Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Lincoln School, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Central Falls has already played their next contest, a 45-30 victory against Burrillville on the 5th. As for Lincoln School, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 45-43 win against Davies Career & Tech on the 5th.
