Volleyball Recap: Newport Cubs vs. Philomath Warriors

Newport lost against Philomath last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cubs fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 3-2. The Cubs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Newport's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Philomath, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.
