Football Recap: Collegiate Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 44-12 loss at the hands of the Glen Oaks Panthers. If Collegiate was looking for revenge after losing 45-0 to Glen Oaks when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Collegiate's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Glen Oaks, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Collegiate and Glen Oaks could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings. Collegiate (ranked 297th) will meet Parkview Baptist (ranked 105th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Glen Oaks will square off against University Lab at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (249 vs. 27).
