Football Game Recap: Kirk Academy vs. Indianola Academy

Indianola Academy won the last time they met up with Kirk Academy, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Indianola Academy made easy work of Kirk Academy on Friday and carried off a 33-7 victory. Followers of Indianola Academy probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.

Indianola Academy started the match off right with 20 first-half points. Meanwhile, Kirk Academy couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 20-0 heading into the break. The Indianola Academy defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the contest. The game pushed Kirk Academy down to 1-4 and pulled Indianola Academy up to the reverse at 4-1.

Indianola Academy will be staying on the road next week, facing off against North Delta. Kirk Academy will stay at home against Bayou Academy at 7:00 PM.
