Soccer Game Preview: Central Wise vs. Richlands

The Central Wise Warriors will face off against the Richlands Blue Tornado at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Wise's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Richlands' offense will have their work cut out for them.

Central Wise is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They blew past Virginia High 9-0. Central Wise might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Richlands, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against John Battle by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Richlands were the better team in the second half.

They hit John Battle with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Mary Reyn Buchanan, Emery Queen, and Casey Addison.

Central Wise's victory bumped their record up to 15-3-1. As for Richlands, they pushed their record up to 13-3-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
