It's playoff time, and Haines City had no trouble coming through when it counted. They managed a 19-13 victory over the Durant Cougars on Wednesday. The win made it a perfect season for the Hornets.

Zebrielle Canaday threw for 113 yards on ten of 19 attempts. Mikayla Hill was her top target, picking up 48 receiving yards.

Durant lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Lia Cobbs, who threw for 154 yards and two touchdowns.

Haines City's win bumped their record up to 16-0. As for Durant, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.

Coming up, Haines City will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Steinbrenner at 7:00 p.m. The Hornets will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least 31 points in their last five games. Durant does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
