The Gaithersburg Trojans will look to defend their home court against the Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles at 5:30 p.m. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Gaithersburg has struggled recently with eight defeats in a row, while Seneca Valley will arrive with three straight victories.

Seneca Valley used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Quince Orchard. And. Teagan Phillips made the most of the opportunity, scoring seven points along with two steals. A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.

Gaithersburg has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
