Volleyball Recap: Kenosha Bradford Takes a Loss

Kenosha Bradford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the South Milwaukee Rockets. While the Red Devils didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Rockets 25-15 in the first set.

Kenosha Bradford wouldn't go down easily and took South Milwaukee into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-12, 25-17, 23-25, 15-13.

Kenosha Bradford's defeat dropped their record down to 10-22. As for South Milwaukee, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-16 record this season.

Kenosha Bradford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Milwaukee, they will challenge Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
