Ravenswood lost to Sherman back in September, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Red Devils came out on top against the Tide by a score of 2-0.

The win didn't come easy: Sherman scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21.

When it comes to explaining why Sherman lost, don't look at Emma Russell. Despite the final result, she had 20 assists and eight digs. Russell is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 16 or more in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrina Smith, who had 12 digs.

Ravenswood is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Sherman, their loss dropped their record down to 16-6-1.

Ravenswood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Wayne on the 11th. As for Sherman, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Charleston Catholic on the 11th.
