Softball Recap: Forest Hills Central Comes Up Short

Forest Hills Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 16-5 to the West Catholic Falcons. That's two games in a row now that the Rangers have lost by exactly 11 runs.

Peyton Robinson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.

Forest Hills Central's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for West Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forest Hills Central will venture away from home to take on Caledonia at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Catholic, they will head out to square off against Belding at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
