Football Recap: Upperman Bees vs. White County Warriors
If White County wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Upperman, they should've done a better job of containing Bronzdon Chaffin. The Bees claimed a resounding 42-0 win over the Warriors for which the team can thank Chaffin, who rushed for 80 yards and two TDs, and also threw for 263 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes. His passing game has become a key predictor of Upperman's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise.
Carmine Phillips was another key player, rushing for 52 yards and two scores. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing one fumble and making five total tackles (1.0 for loss).
