Baseball Recap: Lely Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Lely's offense. They came up short against the Fort Myers Green Wave on Tuesday, falling 24-0. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lely's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Fort Myers, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

Coming up, Lely will square off against Northridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lely has given up an average of 12.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Fort Myers, they will challenge Charlotte at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Charlotte 3.2, Fort Myers 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
