There's no place like home for Midway, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Rich Hill Tigers on Thursday. For the Vikings, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Midway was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-21, 25-18.

Dakota Dean paced Midway's offense, picking up 13 kills. Dean got some help from Ella Lyon and her 26 assists. Ella Jamison controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Midway's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Rich Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Midway has already played their next matchup, a 1-1 tie against Ballard on the 27th. As for Rich Hill, they will challenge McAuley Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
