Basketball Recap: Park Place Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Park Place Christian Academy lost against Lamar on January 3rd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The game between the Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders and the Lamar Raiders didn't end well, with the Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders falling 41-27. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lamar's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Blake Hart, who went 6 of 14 on her way to 14 points and five boards. Hart has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Addison McKee, who posted four points and seven steals.

Park Place Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Lamar, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-10.

Park Place Christian Academy will face off against Prentiss Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Park Place Christian Academy is facing Prentiss Christian at the right time seeing as Prentiss Christian is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Lamar, they will take on East Rankin Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
