Volleyball Recap: Taft Takes a Loss

After flying high against Marshall on Tuesday, Taft came back down to earth. The Raiders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Aubrey Chaparrals on Thursday.

Faith Klavitter paced Taft's offense, picking up five kills. Klavitter got some help from Taylor Lee and her nine assists. Casyn Jefferson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Taft's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Aubrey, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.

Coincidentally, Taft and Aubrey will both be playing Crockett the next time they take the court. The Chaparrals will head out to face the Cougars at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, while the Raiders will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
