Basketball Recap: Rogers Takes a Loss

Rogers lost against Lima Senior back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rams were dealt a 75-36 defeat at the hands of the Spartans. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 151st, while the Spartans are ranked seventh).

Rogers' loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-3. As for Lima Senior, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Rogers and Beecher will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lima Senior, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Trinity on the 27th.
