Roxboro Community extended their postseason success on Friday against Bear Grass Charter. They came out on top against the Bears by a score of 4-1. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their 13th in a row.

Kaylyn Pope spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Ava Talley was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April.

Roxboro Community pushed their record up to 20-5 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Bear Grass Charter, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 22-5.

As of now, neither Roxboro Community nor the Bears have any future games scheduled.
