Football Game Preview: Timpview Thunderbirds vs. Pleasant Grove Vikings

The Timpview Thunderbirds will head out on the road to square off against the Pleasant Grove Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither Timpview nor Pleasant Grove posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Timpview's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against Springville on Friday. They were beaten by the Red Devils 28-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Thunderbirds were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Pleasant Grove played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 50-7 loss at the hands of Orem. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah football rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Tigers are ranked tenth).

This is the second loss in a row for Timpview and nudges their season record down to 3-5. As for Pleasant Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 3-5.
