Carter is 8-2 against Wilmer-Hutchins since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Cowboys will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Carter's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Wilmer-Hutchins has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Carter had been on a ten-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but Lincoln put an end to it on Tuesday. The Cowboys came up short against the Tigers, falling 15-0. The shutout was out of character for the Cowboys seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

Meanwhile, Wilmer-Hutchins scored the most runs they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 32-21 to Pinkston.

Wilmer-Hutchins' loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Carter, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-1.

Carter took their win against Wilmer-Hutchins in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 20-5 score. Will the Cowboys repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
