Volleyball Recap: Milford Takes a Loss

Milford was the 3-0 winner over Lexington when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Scarlet Hawks fell just short of the Minutemen by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Scarlet Hawks just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Milford took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-15, 23-25, 25-21, 15-13.

Lexington found their leader in sophomore Joshua Choi, who had 18 digs and two aces.

Milford's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Lexington, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1.

Milford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Agawam on the 2nd. As for Lexington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Woburn Memorial on the 1st.
