It was a proper cat-fight when Burley faced off against Mountain Home on Thursday. The Bobcats walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Tigers. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 16-4 victory last Friday.

Ike Redder spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Jake Redder was incredible, going 4-for-5 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacoby Roe, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Burley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .412. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mountain Home only posted a batting average of .241.

Burley's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Mountain Home, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-8.

Coincidentally, Burley and Mountain Home will both be playing Jerome the next time they take the field. The Tigers will host the Tigers at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bobcats will head out to face them at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
