It was a proper cat-fight when Burley faced off against Mountain Home on Thursday. The Bobcats walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Tigers. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 16-4 victory last Friday.

Ike Redder spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

Burley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .412. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mountain Home only posted a batting average of .241.

Burley's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Mountain Home, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-8.

Coincidentally, Burley and Mountain Home will both be playing Jerome the next time they take the field. The Tigers will host the Tigers at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bobcats will head out to face them at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
