Softball Game Preview: Bayside Commodores vs. Bowne Wildcats

The Bayside Commodores will challenge the Bowne Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Bayside's favor as the team sits on 11 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Bowne has been banged up by seven consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

On Wednesday, Bayside made easy work of Flushing and carried off a 12-2 victory. The Commodores might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Bowne came up short against Newtown on Wednesday, falling 33-1.

Bayside's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Bowne, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

Everything went Bayside's way against Bowne in their previous meeting back in April, as Bayside made off with a 35-3 victory. Do the Commodores have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
