Basketball Recap: Findlay Victorious

Findlay won the last time they faced Wapakoneta and things went their way on Saturday too. The Findlay Trojans came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wapakoneta Redskins, sneaking past 33-31. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 143rd, while the Redskins are ranked 477th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Findlay's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. As for Wapakoneta, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Findlay will take on Scott at 1:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Wapakoneta, they will challenge Allen East at 2:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Allen East will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Wapakoneta surely won't give up without a fight.
