Softball Recap: River Falls Takes a Loss

River Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 12-1 to the Chippewa Falls Cardinals. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly 11 runs.

River Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Chippewa Falls, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Cardinals beat River Falls by a score of 11-0 later that day.
