Volleyball Recap: West Springfield Comes Up Short + How To Watch

West Springfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Agawam Brownies. The Terriers were not able to make up for their loss to the Brownies from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While West Springfield was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-22, 25-20.

Emma Krivolenko paced West Springfield's offense, picking up eight kills. Krivolenko got some help from Sophia Stepchuk and her 11 assists. Isabella Almodovar controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

West Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Agawam, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, West Springfield will host Amherst-Pelham Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Agawam, they will take on Frontier Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
