Basketball Recap: Barrington Comes Up Short

If Barrington was riding high fresh off their 47-27 takedown of Schaumburg last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Barrington Fillies/Broncos were beaten by the Fremd Vikings 68-35 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Fillies/Broncos in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now lost five in a row.

Barrington's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Fremd, they pushed their record up to 16-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Barrington will challenge Carmel at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fremd, they will face off against Conant at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
