The Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks were not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Evergreen. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Cheyenne Mountain of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.
Cheyenne Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Evergreen, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Cheyenne Mountain has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Erie at 4:00 p.m. on March 16th. As for Evergreen, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Windsor at 7:00 p.m. on March 26th.
