Basketball Game Preview: Crossover Prep Lions vs. Oklahoma City S Storm

The Crossover Prep Lions are taking a road trip to challenge the Oklahoma City S Storm at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Crossover Prep will head into Friday's game on the come-up: they were handed a heart-breaking two-point defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Varsity Opponent on Friday. Crossover Prep took their contest with ease, bagging a 46-16 victory over Varsity Opponent. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma City S got the win against Eisenhower on Friday by a conclusive 71-48.

Oklahoma City S found their leader in sophomore Matthew Mason, who went 8 for 9 on his way to 17 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Rex Rowland, who posted 11 points.

Oklahoma City S smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2023.

Oklahoma City S is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 4-11 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.8 points per game. As for Crossover Prep, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
