Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Chelsea Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-15.

Lincoln's offense was headlined by Colby Watson and Emma Ikeogu, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Madeline Stuhr and her 14 assists.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 10-21. As for Chelsea, they pushed their record up to 31-10-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Lincoln has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Pinckney on the 25th. As for Chelsea, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Ypsilanti on the 25th.
