Football Recap: Woodland Christian Cardinals vs. St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs
After flying high against Woodland last Friday, Woodland Christian came back down to earth. The Cardinals fell just short of the St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs by a score of 43-41 on Saturday. The Cardinals gained 118 more yards on the day, but it was the Mustangs that made the best use of them.
Woodland Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Isaiah Hunt and Oliver Holleman. Hunt threw for 433 yards and five touchdowns, while Holleman gained 193 total yards and three touchdowns.
Leading St. Vincent de Paul to victory were Mason Caturegli and Gabe Casanovas.
