Volleyball Recap: Acalanes Takes a Loss

Acalanes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the College Park Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Dons have suffered against the Falcons since May 7, 2021.

Acalanes was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made College Park work for it, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-15, 26-24.

Acalanes' loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for College Park, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Acalanes will take on rival Northgate at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, College Park is set to square off against their familiar foe Clayton Valley Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
