Basketball Recap: Hazen Makes It 19 in a Row at Home

Hazen entered their tilt with Blue Mountain on Saturday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 58-21 victory over the Blue Mountain Bucks. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 31 points or more this season.

Hazen pushed their record up to 19-2 with the win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.1 points over those games. As for Blue Mountain, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hazen will head out to take on Winooski at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Blue Mountain, they are taking a road trip to square off against Williamstown at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Williamstown will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Blue Mountain surely won't give up without a fight.
