Volleyball Recap: Dawson School's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

Dawson School came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Stargate School Eagles. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-10, 25-9.

Pipsa Gronholm paced Dawson School's offense, picking up three kills. Gronholm got some help from Gabby Green and her five assists. Finally, Bella Ward kept Dawson School's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Morgan Stitzer was a one-woman wrecking crew For Stargate School. as she had 16 digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave Stitzer a new career-high in assists (five).

Having lost for the first time this season, Dawson School fell to 2-1. As for Stargate School, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, Dawson School will square off against Golden View Classical Academy at 6:30 p.m. on the 5th. As for Stargate School, they will take on DSST: Conservatory Green at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
