Baseball Recap: Quantico Gets the Win

Quantico was handed a 11-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets 4-3. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 6-5 loss the last time these two teams met.

Quantico saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was M Dial, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Quantico's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Randolph-Macon Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Quantico will welcome Massanutten Military Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give Quantico their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. After both having extra time off, Randolph-Macon Academy and The Carmel School will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 4:00 p.m. on March 31st.
