With a playoff game on the line, the West Covina Bulldogs rose to the challenge on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 30-16 win over Paloma Valley. The victory made it back-to-back wins for West Covina.
When it comes to explaining why Paloma Valley lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jefferey Blalock. Despite the final result, he picked up 101 receiving yards and a touchdown.
West Covina's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Paloma Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
