Recap: Lifestyle Christian Victors vs. Houston Adventist Academy
This season hasn't been kind to the Lifestyle Christian Victors, who are still winless after their sixth game. They took a 59-45 bruising from Houston Adventist Academy on Tuesday. Lifestyle Christian has not had much luck with Houston Adventist Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Houston Adventist Academy was led to victory by Nate Morrison and Ottis Crudup III . Morrison scored 20 points along with six steals, while Crudup III scored 28 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The matchup was Crudup III 's 12th in a row with at least ten points. Jonah Neverez was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Lifestyle Christian bumped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Houston Adventist Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lifestyle Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face The Covenant Preparatory School at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th. The Covenant Preparatory School has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Houston Adventist Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Calvary Baptist at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
