Dumas lost against West Plains back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Dumas Demons received a blow as they fell 54-40 to the West Plains Wolves. The Demons' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Dumas lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jonathan Chavez, who posted eight points. Chavez has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Brice Garcia, who had six points.

Dumas' loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for West Plains, they now also have a winning record of 11-10.

Dumas didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-43 defeat against Pampa on the 11th. West Plains has also already played their next match, a 53-42 win against Canyon on the 11th.
