Willits had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Redwood Christian Eagles 27-0 on Friday. The Wolverines might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 21 points or more this season.

Willits' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Porter Garman led the charge by rushing for 91 yards and one TD, while also picking up 36 receiving yards. Isaac Silva was in the mix as well, providing the Wolverines with two touchdowns.

Willits' run defense was locked in: Redwood Christian could only muster 2.8 yards per carry. While two picked up at least six total tackles, Garman stood above the rest. He rushed for 91 yards and one score, and also picked up 36 receiving yards. Willits didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.1.

Willits didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Damian Reiter led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself.

The win made it two in a row for Willits and bumps their season record up to 9-2. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 points in those games. As for Redwood Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season.

Willits will square off against Piedmont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Redwood Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
